How do you connect Gemini to Trenly?
Trenly is a connector, the same kind you may already use for your calendar or your files, so there is nothing to install. It takes about a minute with a Trenly account.

On a computer, open the Gemini app at
gemini.google.com, then Settings, then Connected Apps. If Connected Apps is not there, open Personal Intelligence first. -

Sign in to Trenly when the Gemini app asks, pick the account it may use and choose Authorize.
You connect once on the web; after that Trenly works in the Gemini web and phone apps.
The Gemini app asks you to confirm every change by hand, and at Read and propose the change also waits for your approval in Trenly: you confirm in the Gemini app, then approve in Trenly.
Gemini starts at Read only. To let it propose changes for your approval, raise your access in Trenly under Settings, then Access, before you connect. If you raise it later, connect Gemini again for the new level to apply.

Can Gemini manage my rental property?
Not by itself. An AI assistant on its own has no record of your leases and rent, and no standing to speak to your residents and vendors as your team. Trenly is that system, and its leasing agent, maintenance coordinator, bookkeeper, front desk, asset manager and local pros do the work. Gemini connects to it the same way Claude, ChatGPT and Grok do, though Trenly has not tested Gemini yet. Choosing a resident, setting the rent, moving money and ending a tenancy stay with you.

Will Gemini text or email my residents on its own?
No. Gemini can draft a message, and Trenly holds it until you approve it. It can send a message only after you have read it and told it to.
What can Gemini see about my residents?
A resident's first name and last initial, their lease and their payments. Not their email address or phone number: when a message goes out, Trenly addresses it.
What kinds of questions is Gemini best at with Trenly?
The ones a property manager never answers. Whether to appeal a tax assessment, which unit is furthest under market, what selling one property and paying down another loan does to your cash flow, which insurance policies renew next quarter and what they cost last year. Gemini reads your Trenly records and combines them with the market and your own documents.
How is Gemini different from the chatbot inside my current software?
A built-in chatbot knows that vendor's data and nothing else. Gemini knows your records in Trenly, the web, the documents you give it, and the rest of your work, and you chose it. Trenly is built so it can do the work there, not only answer questions.
Do I need to be technical to connect Gemini?
No. If you can paste a web address into a settings screen and sign in, you can connect it. After that you just ask in plain English.
Does Trenly work without Gemini?
Yes. Trenly answers residents, coordinates repairs, sends reminders and keeps your books on its own, and you can do everything in Trenly's app. Connecting an assistant adds another way in.
